With an apology for yet another delay caused by technology sabotaging my work, I am happy to report to you, Beautiful People, that our April Lasting Joy club get-together was successful, inspirational, and a lot of fun. In addition to new club members who were physically present, the number of remote access participants has been growing steadily, from month to month. Here are the videos:

United Colors of a Rainbow

A beautiful shimmering symbol of peace, both a natural phenomenon and a Divine promise to protect and preserve the world, the rainbow is a living statement, a map, if you will, of what really transpires in our lives.  A rainbow is formed when pure white light refracts into seven shades. Red is nearest the original beam, and violet is the furthest away from the pure white light. In our individual lives, we also experience the entire spectrum of light, going from bright to dark. Three in the afternoon may be an ideal time – work is great, the sky is blue, and everything seems perfect. Three in the morning is an entirely different story. You lie in bed and can’t sleep. Nothing you do seems significant; nothing seems likely to change either. Sometimes black moments are spurred by external factors – rejection, failure or perceived rejection or failure – but there are also black moments that are just part life’s ebb and flow. At both times, we can recognize that the Creator made us with an inner rhythm that moves the light within us from “red” luminosity to “violet” despair, and that our souls are still eternal and life still has meaning. Each human soul is and always will be attached to life,  even if we are not always wise enough to see joy in it (based on http://www.aish.com).

The Power Space

With April designated as National Stress Awareness Month, April 16 is a special day set aside for Americans to be aware of just how stressed they may have become! 
This year, sit back and chill out on Monday, April 16, 2018 for National Stress Awareness Day

Whether it’s struggling to finish your taxes, dealing with a high-stress job, or juggling multiple tasks very day — taking a breath every once in a while is the best thing you can do for your overall health, say experts.

How does stress play a harmful part in our daily lives? It’s often felt in a tightening of the muscles, increased blood pressure, and other physical damage that stress can do.

In fact, studies show that severe stress has a direct correlation with heart diseasedepression, and a general lowering of the immune system which, in turn, opens the body up to many other diseases.

The simple cure? Chill out! And don’t let everyday stressors get to you.

For some, it only takes a timely reminder to breath — have a laugh, and relax. For others it requires a daily affirmation that stress won’t get the better of them! Sure, stress will always be a part of our lives, so it’s even more important to keep in mind the various ways to cope.

Break the Wall – Happiness Awaits!

Dear Beautiful People, I have been remiss in keeping this blog active – first of all, because my computer has decided to sabotage all my work,and secondly, of course, because of holidays, and I hope everyone has joyful and meaningful celebrations!

As Sarah very acutely points out, when we don’t allow ourselves to be happy, we build a wall of misery around ourselves and get into a habit of expecting the worst awaiting behind this wall.  Of course, reality never fails to deliver those expectations.

But the scary creatures beyond the wall are only products of your imagination. Allow yourself to expect Love, Joy, Courage, and Serenity. Allow yourself to be happy! Break the wall expecting only good things to come your way, and they will – inevitably! Practice the chant with us and do your homework. Learn to access the state of happiness regardless of outside events. This is what we did:
